Founded in 2006, Cedar Mill Co. began with Steve supplying shutters to fellow builders. Drawing on his own homebuilding experience, he soon expanded, laying the foundation for the luxury window and door company Cedar Mill is today.

A University of Texas at Austin graduate with a degree in economics and a master’s in finance from Houston’s University of St. Thomas, Steve brought both a business perspective and practical building expertise to the company. He understood how decisions made early in a project affect everything that follows—from framing and sightlines to installation and long-term performance.

That understanding shaped Cedar Mill’s approach: helping architects, builders and homeowners choose options that fit the design, the budget and the way the home comes together. Along the way, his wife and trusted partner, Aimee, has helped shape the company’s direction, bringing a creative eye and thoughtful perspective to its growth.

The knowledge, trust and relationships at Cedar Mill’s core have remained constant, supported by dedicated people whose loyalty and years with the company bring continuity to every project. What has evolved is an increasingly focused selection of exceptional steel, aluminum, and wood and wood-clad windows and doors, chosen for their craftsmanship, performance and the service behind them.
