Construction

- All doors and windows can be “sash” set to minimize sight-line differences between operable and fixed units
- Door and window frames/ sashes vary from 3/16” thick to ½” thick solid steel
- Solid flat bar construction offers cleaner and finer corners and edges
- All operable door and window units are hand-crafted to customers’ choice of hardware
- Cedar Mill offers installation
- Minimal field assembly required, if any
- Our doors & windows are NOT thermally broken, although rare may sweat under extreme conditions.
Glazing
- All glass is in Cardinal LowE 366
- Black, bronze, and silver spacer bars available
- Solid steel exterior “angle stops” or “square stops” (glazing beads) allow for easy re-glazing or maintenance
Finish
- Custom color match for each project
- All finishing is done in a controlled environment
- Our finishes offer simple field touch-up for easy repair of wear and tear
- High quality, catalyzed, polyurethane finish provides excellent hardness, adhesion, and abrasion resistance
- All steel is sandblasted and zinc coated, to essentially prevent rusting prior to finishing
